FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)]
id0140b2801300
-
Осторожно
-
• Water penetrating the connector will cause sensor malfunction. To prevent this, be careful not to damage the wiring harnesses or the waterproof connector so as to cause water penetration.
-
Примечание
-
Voltage Inspection
1. Start the engine and warm up the engine completely.
2. Measure the voltage between fuel pressure sensor terminal C and body ground using a voltmeter at idle.
-
• If it is not as specified, perform the “Circuit Open/Short Inspection”.
-
― If there is no open/short circuit, replace the common rail.

CIrcuit Open/Short Inspection
1. Disconnect the PCM connector. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)
2. Inspect the following wiring harness for open or short circuit (continuity check).
Open circuit
-
• If there is no continuity, there is an open circuit. Repair or replace the wiring harness.
-
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal C and PCM terminal 219
-
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 203
-
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 202
Short circuit
-
• If there is continuity, there is an short circuit. Repair or replace the wiring harness.
-
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal A and power supply
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal A and body ground
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal B and power supply
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal B and body ground
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal C and power supply
― Fuel pressure sensor terminal C and body ground
