DTC P2101 [MZR-CD (RF Turbo)]
id0102f1811100
DTC P2101 |
Intake shutter valve position sensor circuit high input |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• PCM monitors the intake shutter valve position sensor circuit current. If the PCM detects that the intake shutter valve position sensor circuit current is excessively high, the PCM determines that the electronic intake shutter valve actuator circuit has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
• MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in two consecutive drive cycles or in one drive cycle while the DTC for the same malfunction has been stored in the PCM.
• PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• DTCs are stored in PCM memory.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Short to the power supply between intake shutter valve terminal F and PCM terminal 86
• Intake shutter valve actuator malfunction
• PCM malfunction
