DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The fuel injector compensation data check sum error.
Diagnostic support note
• MIL illuminates if PCM detects the above malfunctioning condition in one drive cycle and the DTC has been stored in the PCM.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

• Verify related service repair information availability.
• Is any related repair information available?

Yes

Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information.
• If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.

Go to the next step.

VERIFY FUEL INJECTOR COMPENSATION DATA INPUTTED PROPERLY
• Perform the fuel injector compensation data input procedure.
• Does the inputted fuel injector compensation data properly?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No
|
Clear the learning data on PCM. Perform the fuel injector compensation data input procedure again.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P1676 COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Turn the engine switch to ON position (engine off).
• Clear the DTC from PCM memory using the M-MDS.
• Start the engine.
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes

Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.

No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform “AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE”.
• Are any DTCs present?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
