DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors the engine speed. If the engine speed is 6,000 rpm or more, the PCM determines that there is a malfunction in the control system.

• Has FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?

VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY
• Verify related service repair information availability.
• Is any related repair information available?

Yes

Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information.
• If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.

Go to the next step.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF P0219 COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the M-MDS.
• Start the engine.
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes
|
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform the “AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE”.
• Is any DTC present?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.
