DTC P0480 |
Fan control circuit malfunction |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors the fan control signal at PCM terminal 318. If the PCM sends signal to fan control module but voltage at terminal 318 does not change, the PCM determines that fan control circuit has malfunctioned.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Fan control module malfunction
• Connector or terminal malfunction
• Open circuit in wiring from fan control module terminal 1C to PCM terminal 318
• Short to ground in wiring from fan control module terminal 1C to PCM terminal 318
• Short to power in wiring from fan control module terminal 1C to PCM terminal 318
• PCM malfunction
