CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)]

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See СНЯТИЕ И УСТАНОВКА АККУМУЛЯТОРНОЙ БАТАРЕИ [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Remove the engine cover.

4.  Remove the under cover.

5.  Remove the splash shield.

6.  Follow “BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION” before performing any work operations to prevent fuel from spilling from the fuel system. (See МЕРЫ ПРЕДОСТОРОЖНОСТИ ПЕРЕД ПРОВЕДЕНИЕМ РЕМОНТА [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

7.  Disconnect the quick release connector (Type D). (See СНЯТИЕ И УСТАНОВКА БЫСТРОДЕЙСТВУЮЩЕГО РАЗЪЁМА [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

8.  Remove the accessory drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

9.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

11.  Inspect all related parts by performing “AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION”. (See ПОСЛЕРЕМОНТНЫЕ ПРОФИЛАКТИЧЕСКИЕ МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

•  Rotate the engine in the normal direction of rotation only.

1.  Rotate the engine until the SST fits into the hole in the flywheel.

2.  Remove and discard the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt.

Crankshaft Pulley Retaining Bolt Installation Note

1.  Install a new crankshaft pulley bolt.

•  Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt in two stages.

•  Stage 1: Tighten the bolt 30 N·m {3.1 kgf·m, 22.1 ft·lbf}.

•  Stage 2: Tighten the bolt 180 °

2.  Remove the SST.
