DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The fuel additive control module monitors the fuel additive amount in fuel additive tank using fuel additive level senor. If the fuel additive control module detects fuel additive level is lower than specified value or cumulated quantity of fuel additive is above specified, the fuel additive control module determines that the fuel additive is minimum level.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Low fuel additive level
• Fuel additive control module did not reset when refilling fuel additive
|

VERIFY FREEZE FRAME DATA HAS BEEN RECORDED
• Has the FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No
|
Record the FREEZE FRAME DATA on the repair order, then go to the next step.

VERIFY REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY
• Verify related service repair information availability.
• Is any related repair information available?
|
Yes
|
Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information.
If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.

No
|
Go to the next step.

|
VERIFY QUANTITY OF FUEL ADDITIVE
• Verify that the fuel additive in fuel additive tank.
• Is fuel additive in fuel additive tank?
|
Yes
|
Perform fuel additive cumulated quantity reset procedure, then go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Refill and reset cumulated quantity in fuel additive control module, then go to the next step.
|

|
VERIFY THAT DTC P1932 TROUBLESHOOTING IS COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Clear the DTC from the fuel additive control module memory using the M-MDS.
• Start the engine and warm-up to normal operating temperature.
• Retrieve the DTC using the M-MDS.
• Is the PENDING CODE same DTC present.

Yes
|
Replace fuel additive control module, then go to the next step.
|

No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform "After Repair Procedure".
• Is there any DTC present?
|
Yes
|
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
(See DTC TABLE [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

No
|
Troubleshooting completed.
